• 9/05/2008 : Powerfull slow-moving Thuderstorms moved across the city given in totall 22.1mm or rain locally allong with hailstones and some flooding. Part of this was caused by the Warm & humid air that had been moving across Britain during the same week.

• 9/07/2008 : Low Pressure out to the West of Britain braught torrential rain across parts of the country especially the Southern half of the UK. Our Station recorded a rainfall total of 39.4mm in Just one day
