Severe Weather This Year

This page shows you all the severe weather events that have occured in Swansea druing the year.

February 2nd 2009: High Pressure built over Scandinavia bringing in Easterly winds. With it came a fairly large cold pool, with upper air temperatures as low as -10C to -11C. On The next day (Tuesday 3rd) Low pressure was centered close to Wales. This Mixed with the cold air produced Snowstorms across Wales, with accumulations of 5-6 Inches of snow locally.
